Furthermore, I am unlikely to learn anything about concrete equipment unless I absolutely must. I hate to let the feminists down, but I’m a typical female in that I leave jobs that entail working with concrete to my husband or men who are paid to do such things. My husband therefore knows more about the subject of concrete equipment than I ever will. Nevertheless, there isn’t much by way of concrete equipment in my husband’s extensive tool collection.
If my husband had a major project which involved the use of concrete equipment, he would either rent the right tools for the job or hire someone else to take care of the entire task on his behalf. We hired a professional to remodel the stairs leading to our basement last year because they were a lawsuit waiting to happen. The project cost a few thousand dollars but it saved my husband a lot of time because he didn’t have to do it himself. Furthermore, the men we hired arrived with their concrete equipment in the morning and had the job finished by that same night, which meant less mess and inconvenience for us.
