Could Your Masonry Tools Build This? |

Since it is summer, I think that many concrete cutting tools are going to see some pool creation use. When I think of a normal residential pool, it is no more than 5.5 feet deep and by no means huge. Masonry tools can get the job done for laying a pool’s shell but do you think your masonry tools would work when creating the world’s largest swimming pool seen in the video above? Located in Chile at the San Alfonso del Mar Resort this behemoth holds 250,000 cubic meters of water that circulates in and out from the ocean in an advanced filtration system.
This pool is a kilometer long. Think about how many concrete polishing tools were used when getting this baby ready for water. It is nothing short of staggering. People have said that this pool is 6,000 times larger than the average sized water retreat. I wonder how long it would take to swim a lap. With recycled water keeping guest clean many are happy with its creation because the nearby ocean often has dangerous currents.
